Installation Steps for Java and WinAppDriver

Install WinAppDriver, Java Development Kit, and algoScraper to automate Windows desktop applications with Java.

Installing WinAppDriver

There are two ways to install WinAppDriver on a Windows 10 machine:

  1. You can refer to the WinAppDriver Github project document here: Installing and Running Windows Application Driver for the installation.
  2. To download WinAppDriver, click here. The Windows Application Driver Setup window displays. Follow the instructions to install the Windows Application Driver. After downloading, ensure that you save the extracted files to the C:\folder.

Installing Java Development Kit

To install the Java Development Kit (JDK) and set up environment variables, refer to JDK Installation Guide.
