Canvas
Use Canvas to create nodes, configure features and controls, generate test cases, and manage your project visually.
Adding a Node from the Configuration Screen
Navigate to the configuration screen
In the Test Design screen, navigate to the Configuration screen to add nodes.
Add a node
Click the Add Node button in the Configuration screen to create a new node. Enter the node name and click Create Node.
Configure features and controls
After adding the node, configure the features and controls within the configuration screen. You can add features, define controls, and set up business rules for each node.
View the node in Canvas
Click the View Nodes button to switch to the Canvas view, where you can see a visual representation of the nodes you have created.
Save the configuration
After configuring the features and controls, click Save to save the node configuration.
How to Use the Features in Canvas
Add a node from Canvas
Click the Add Node button in the Canvas to create a new node directly from the visual view.
Drag and reposition nodes
Click and drag any node to reposition it on the Canvas. Click Save to save the new layout.
Search for nodes
When a search is performed, only the matching nodes are displayed, and all other nodes are hidden. To view all nodes again, simply clear the search.
Zoom and lock nodes
Use the + icon to zoom in, the – icon to zoom out, Fit View to display all nodes within the view, and the Lock icon to toggle node positions without saving.
Configure a node
This will direct you to the Test Design > Configuration screen, where you can add and configure features and controls. You can also record scenarios from this screen.
Auto test cases
Click the Auto Test Cases button to generate test cases from here.
Access the More dropdown
Click the More dropdown on the configuration screen to access options such as updating the configuration and uploading scraped data.
